Tomb Of The Unknown - Ben Shemen

I took my kids to explore a local Tomb of the Unknown. When I was in elementary school I was obsessed with hieroglyphics, treasure maps, and treasures in ancient Egypt. Being able to pick up the kids from school and take them to explore ancient ruins and an actual tomb is unbelievable!

Ayalon Canada Park

I took my 2 oldest to explore Ayalon Canada Park located in central Israel between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. We discovered the Tomb of Ibn Jabal, a cave, and PHD student, Tomer Urca, who is tracking giant beetles with mini trackers! Oh, and there are also some incredible drone shots of the park and its breathtaking views!

Grasshopper Park by Ruslan Sergeev

I visited the famous Grasshopper park in Modiin, Israel designed by Ruslan Sergeev with amazing shots captured with the DJI MAVIC MINI drone. In his own words, “I try to connect my creatures, with the tradition of the Arts in the Middle East and its reflection in European Art tradition. I want that my environmental sculpture invites observers to take part in the experience, drawing them to touch the sculpture and become part of it.”

You can see more of Ruslan’s creatures here: https://aicf.org/artist/ruslan-sergeev/

Emek Zevulun Parks

I am happy to be able to show you a small piece of the beauty that is Modiin, Israel. Modiin has been coined the “best-planned city in Israel”. One of the reasons is because of the beautiful parks built throughout the city. Here is a small glimpse at the beauty that is Modiin.

Wonders of The World Park

The newest children park in the city of Modiin, Israel is called: ‘Wonders of the World Park’ and was designed by a 3rd grader that sent her idea to the mayor. Includes the Pyramids, Great Wall of China, Stonehenge, and Easter Island! If you are looking for a local outing with the kids with plenty of eating options available in the area.

Kosha Dillz

The trick about always learning and evolving is that you never know when inspiration will hit, but when it does, never let it go to waste and instead take action.

I just listened to “The Great Day Podcast with Meir Kay” – Kosha Dillz – Nobody Cares Except You – Episode 55 featuring Kosha Dillz

Lots of insights on just being yourself, but one line hit me like a ton of bricks — “The security in being a #creator is creating more.”

Moshav Gimzo

We found an amazing local fruit picking orchard, קטיף עצמי בגמזו, located on Moshav Gimzo, founded in 1950. The orchards include the most delicious all you can eat while you pick pomegranates, limes, and clementines. The costs of admission are minimal, and you only pair a small fee for each box of fruit you bring home. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in both English and Hebrew. If you are looking for something to do for 3-4 hours, I would highly recommend making the trip!

Tel Gezer

I visited Tel Gezer National Park. The biblical story of Joshua mentions the King of Gezer. Archaeological excavation at Gezer has been going on since the early 1900s, and it has become one of the most excavated sites in Israel. It is centrally located, full of history dating back 3000 years, and easily accessed. If you are looking for an hour or two outing with beautiful views, I absolutely recommend Tel Gezer.

Masada Snake Path Part 1

In this week’s episode, Episode 25 of TOUR ISRAEL LIKE A LOCAL, cinematic DJI MAVIC MINI drone series, I raced up the snake path trail (1300+ feet, 400 meters) to the top of Masada National Park while The Running Tour Guide and Dr. Tuvia Book run up the adjacent and rarely visited Mount Elazar to be able to capture them via the drone from the top of Masada!
