Located exactly halfway between Jerusalem and Modiin, this incredible spring is literally just 2 minutes off of Highway 1. Thousands of people drive past it every single day, but probably less than 1% realize there’s a beautiful, refreshing swimming hole tucked away right next to the road!

Shahedi’s family has lived here for generations, running a shop at the entrance to the City of David tunnel. Tragically, a combination of pandemic lockdowns and a tunnel entrance relocation has completely cut off foot traffic to the shop, leaving it closed.
