Episode 44 - Rafting Jordan River

In today’s episode, I traveled to northern Israel in search of rapids on the Jordan River. We ended up between the Lebanon and Syrian borders at a Kfar Blum Kayaks in Kibbutz Kfar Blum. The drive up north between the different landscapes and terrain from fields and hills to mountain ranges kept my children entertained during the long drive. Once you arrive at Kfar Blum Kayaks, you will find plenty of parking. Grab your stuff, head to the ticket counter and wait for your quick bus ride to the starting point for your rafting adventure down the Jordan River.

In today’s episode, we traveled to northern Israel, to the Monkey Forest in Yodfat. If you have ever dreamed of traveling to one of those monkey islands you see all over social media like me, this definitely should be added to your to-do list. The main attraction is hand-feeding little worms to these adorable monkeys. The monkeys come right up to you, climb on your shoulders, arms, and hands to grab their worms from you. *Note: You do need to purchase the worms for a nominal price.
