There is a Kangaroo Park in Israel?!

In today’s episode, I traveled to northern Israel, next to Gan HaShlosha National Park to an amazing but little-known Zoo called Gan Garoo, the Australian Zoo right here in Israel. You read that right, there is a zoo in Israel focused on sharing and preserving the animals of Australia! However, this is not your normal petting zoo with goats, chickens, etc. This zoo has real, live kangaroos that you can feed and interact with to your heart’s desire. Big ones, small ones, baby ones, just hopping around the enclosed area. That’s right, no need to travel around the world to hang out with kangaroos, just an hour or so drive from the center of the country.

The zoo also features bats, aviaries, goats, insects, fish, and more. I recommend Gan Garoo for all ages. Gan Garoo also includes a campground with luxury tents, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. You can also get an Airbnb around the area and spend a few days in Emek HaMayaanot (Valley of the Springs) area between Gan Garoo, Gan HaShlosha, the lazy river (video coming soon), and hikes in the area. You won’t be disappointed. It is one of the most beautiful places in the country.
