I traveled to northern Israel to an amazing but little-known Zoo called Gan Garoo, the Australian Zoo right here in Israel. You read that right, there is a zoo in Israel focused on sharing and preserving the animals of Australia! However, this is not your normal petting zoo with goats, chickens, etc. This zoo has real, live kangaroos that you can feed and interact with to your heart’s desire.
